Elizabeth “Beth” Anne Dove, passed away on November 1, 2012. Beth was a retired teacher. She taught deaf and hard of hearing students and more recently was a Resource teacher for students with learning disabilities.
Beth was born in Oakland, CA at Oakland Naval Hospital on January 7, 1946. Beth attended public schools in Hayward, CA. She graduated California State University, Hayward, CA and continued her education at San Francisco State University earning teaching certification in Special Education Deaf and Hard of Hearing as well as Elementary Education. She received her Master of Arts in Special Education from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in 1996.
Beth married her Air Force husband, Lt. Colonel Edgar L. Dove on July 8, 1972. They moved to Colorado Springs in 1984 and it became their home.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Edgar; daughter, Suzanne Dove of Denver, CO; son, USAF Captain Steven Dove (Stefanie) of Valdosta, Georgia; brothers, Stephen Ingram of Placerville, CA and Frank Ingram (Judy) of Dublin, CA. She is also survived by her cats, Mitzie and Rocky and her sheltie, Ranger.

unless my cats are there to welcome me.”
Per Beth’s request, cremation will take place and private services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Colorado Springs, 610 Abbott Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80905.
