Ellen G. Hobart Miller
Ellen G. Miller, age 59, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1976 and formerly of Los Alamos, New Mexico, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at her home. She was an engineering secretary for Digital Equipment Corporation, and a loving wife and friend.
Ellen Gail Hobart was born on November 12, 1953 in Los Alamos, New Mexico to the late Marvin and Charlotte (Ulibarri) Hobart. She attended high school in New Mexico and went on to attend the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She married Richard E. Miller on June 29, 1987 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Together they enjoyed traveling to different states around the country. They also enjoyed country round dancing.
Ellen is survived by her husband: Richard; and her step-children: Kathleen (Robert) Feder of Oviedo, Florida; Steven (Terrie) Miller of Gunthersburg, Alabama; and Joanne (Stephen) Mosher of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Ellen has nine step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
Private family memorial services in honor of Ellen were held. Private inurnment will take place at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Columbarium of Roses.
