Eloyce Pacheco, 93, passed away on October 12, 2017. She was a resident of Colorado Springs since 1958. She was born on December 19, 1923 in Dawson, New Mexico to Alex and Maria Archuleta.
She was married to Frank Pacheco Jr. from Cimarron, New Mexico for 50 years before he passed away in 1995. Together they raised five children, 3 boys and 2 girls: Fred (Una), Marie, Regina (Ed deceased), Franklin, and Rick. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters: Alex, Ernest, Freddie, Geneva and Josie.
Eloyce was active in all types of dance well into her latter years. She also enjoyed sewing and cooking, but her greatest passion was her 5 children, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. and a rosary will be prayed starting at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 with viewing starting at 9:15 a.m. and funeral services starting at 10:00 a.m. The viewing, rosary and funeral service will all be held at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 East Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, Colorado.
A private interment will be held in Fort Logan where her husband lies in rest.
