Erma Cymbeline (Moore) Walker

Erma Cymbeline (Moore) Walker of Peyton, Colorado was born September 17, 1937 in Otis, Colorado to Melvin and Ruth (Matthews) Moore. She was a Colorado Springs area resident since 1963 and a lifelong Colorado native.
She attended schools in Loveland and Otis, Colorado and graduated from Otis High School in 1955.
She was employed at Kassler and Co. in Denver, the 349th Troop Carrier Wing at Hamilton AFB in Novato, California, then by Central Mortgage and Investment Co. in Colorado Springs. As well as being a mortgage banker, she also worked with older people in health care.
She married Fred Walker on January 20, 1969 and lived in Monument until 1997 when she and Fred moved to a new home southeast of Peyton.
She is survived by her brothers: Hubert Moore of Delta, Colorado, and HR Moore of Port Townsend, Washington; grandchildren: Brandon Bell of Monument, Michael Norfolk of Houston, Texas, Brittany, Justin and Dayna Walker of Dover, Arkansas; and nephews: Hugh Moore of Peyton, Tim Batterson of Colorado Springs, and Frank Batterson of Sterling, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred; sisters: Bernetta Batterson and Bobbie Myers; and her beloved son, Christopher David Bell.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard. Inurnment will take place at Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Gate of Heaven.
