Eunice Marie (Plemel) Holmes
December 29, 1948 – July 27, 2016
Eunice Marie (Plemel) Holmes, 67, of Colorado Springs, Colorado entered into rest Wednesday, July 27, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 29, 1948 in Algona, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Mildred Plemel, and Herman Platt.
Those who knew Eunice found her a very caring person, often carrying the worries of those around her. Eunice’s favorite things were bragging on the grandkids, crafts, scrapbooking, quilt making, and embroidering. She loved showing off her beautiful projects.
Eunice is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Tim Holmes; sons: David (Alayna) and Larry (Christina) Holmes; five grandchildren: Marissa, Joshua, Madeline, Steven, Christopher; and great-grandson, Bentily.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to The American Cancer Society and The Humane Society. The family would like to thank the staff of Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care, as well as Brookdale for their care and support.
