Francis “Frank” Fraser was born July 15, 1936, to Harry and Josephine Fraser in Baddeck, Nova Scotia.

After graduating high school Baddeck, he left to join the RCAF, where he had a distinguished career of 38 years. He had numerous postings across North America, during which he made many lifelong friends. Frank retired with the rank of Major in 1992.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Ida, of 39 years, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; children: James, Marilyn (Brian), Paul (Lisa) and Christine all living in Canada, as well as Vickie (Bruce), Stella (Shawn) and Paula of Montana, and Disney (Becky) of Colorado; daughter-in-law, Stephani, of Kansas; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, June and Sharon.

Frank was preceded in death by his son, Steve, of Kansas.

A Celebration of life for Frank will be held at 10:00AM, Monday, August 5, 2024, at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
