Frank Olivas, a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021.
Frank was born on April 30, 1928 to Lorenzo and Cleofas (Garcia) Olivas in Rocky Ford, Colorado. He married Mary Eufelia Rivera on July 19, 1954 in Rocky Ford.
He worked as a barber, security officer, and truck driver during different times in his life. He enjoyed playing pool, taking trips to Cripple Creek, and spending time with his children and grandkids. He also loved to go camping and fishing with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Olivas; his daughters: Corby Olivas, Lorrie Lou Olivas, and Shelly Olivas; his brother, Henry Olivas; his sister, Patty Olivas; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, David Olivas, and his parents.
A private family memorial service will be held. Private inurnment will take place at Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Garden of Freedom Columbarium.
