Frank D. Bell, 86, passed away December 7, 2020. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a long time resident of Arizona before moving to Colorado Springs, CO upon his retirement. He was a High School Principal at Camp Verde High School (Camp Verde), Bradshaw Mountain HS (Prescott Valley), Page HS (Page), Willcox HS (Willcox),and Tombstone HS (Tombstone).

Frank was born on January 24, 1934 to Wilbur Bell and Hazel (Maxwell) Bell in Butler, Pennsylvania. On November 28, 1958 he married Anita Zanardi in Tempe, Arizona. Frank was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed watching football, playing BINGO, and never met a person he didn’t like. He was a graduate of Butler Senior High School in Butler, Pennsylvania (1953), Arizona State College at Tempe in Tempe, Arizona (1957), and Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California (1969). He was a four year letterman in football at Arizona State College. He was inducted into the Butler Area Sports Hall of Fame in 1983. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife Anita. He is survived by his three daughters Patti (Greg) Berens, Barbara (Randy) Price, and JoAnn (Bob) Nance; ten grandchildren Clinton (Sharon) Price, Billy (Lanie) Price, Christie (Josh) Van Skike, Stephen (Megan) Berens, Cat Nance, Robert Nance, Bryanna (Jerry) Boone, Will (Jennie) Nance, Zach Bell-Nance, and Thaddeus Nance; and nine great-grandchildren Connor Price, Kellen Price, Ashley Price, Cindy Price, Iris Nance, Rhett Berens, Lily Nance, Mikey Nance, and Bridget Berens.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2021.
