Genevieve T. Riffee passed away April 13, 2015 at the age of 83.

Genevieve was born October 3, 1931 in Amalia, New Mexico to Jose’ and Sylviana Pacheco. After extensive travel with her husband and family, they moved to Colorado Springs 40 years ago.

She is survived by her daughters: Vickie (Charles), Bernadette (Valentino), and Elizabeth (Steve); nine grandchildren: Aaron, Cassie, Joshua, Matthew, Levi, Patrick, Cody, Dakota and Anthony; four great grandchildren: Noah, Ethan, Eli, and Chloe; six siblings: Ronald, Raymond, Eddie, Jose’, Phyllis and Marie.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Floyd Riffee Sr.; two sons: Rodney and Floyd Jr.; her parents: Jose’ and Sylviana Pacheco; and a sister: Emilia Arp.

Genevieve was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and remained a faithful servant of Jehovah for over 40 years till her death.

She was a fantastic cook and gardener. She enjoyed shopping, fishing, baking, flea markets and making porcelain. In her younger years she taught ballroom dancing and was a great singer.

She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. She had a giving heart and helped anyone who was in need.

A Memorial Service will be held April 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1150 Crandall Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80911. Interment will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
