Geraldine Ann Carlo (Bryant) was born April 9th 1938, to Roy Bryant and Verlie Powell. She departed this life on December 3rd 2024.
She moved to Colorado at a young age where she met and married Leonard Carlo. Together they had 4 children: Roxann, Colleen, Lenny and Carla. She was then blessed with 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was a strong, fierce independent woman that meant so much to so many. Geri was also known for being an exceptional beautician and was the first woman to earn her license as a barber in Colorado. When she wasn’t making people feel beautiful, she was raising her children and running a business. Geri had multiple businesses in her lifetime. She had a passion for real estate and remodeling. You could feel and see her passion in every bar, restaurant and house that she owned.
As we try to come to terms with the sudden loss of such an incredible woman, I pray that we find comfort in our memories of her. Remember her love, remember her laughter, remember her spunk and she will live on through all of us.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
