Gerda M. Reynolds
Gerda passed away December 5, 2014 at her home. She was born September 8, 1929 in Mannheim, West Germany to the late Kurt and Magdalena Livraghi.
Gerda and her husband, John, traveled to many places with their four older children while John was in the military. They settled in Colorado Springs in 1959 and continued their life here. Gerda worked at the Kwik Shake in Security for many years as a cook and continued working as a cook in various nursing homes. But her greatest work was being a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She is survived by six children: John (Debbie), Linda, Peggy (Randy), Nancy, Bobby (Marilyn), and Heidi (Jeff); ten grandchildren: Tammy, Kurt, Christa, Sally, Shelli, Joshua, Cody C., Jessie, Cody W., and Lena; twelve great-grandchildren: Cassie, Walker, Jake, Zane, Kylie, Kaylin, Kallie, Alyvia, Haley, Ty, Trent, and Preston; and two great-great-grandchildren: Blake, and Cedar. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1983.
Private family services will be held.
Our mother was an inspiration to all of us and she loved us all as individuals. She will be missed more than words can say.
