Gloria Joann Hansen, 65, of Colorado Springs, passed away on October 16, 2013 at a local care facility. Gloria was born on July 13, 1948 in Brush, Colorado to the late Thomas and Mildred (Smith) Hagan. After graduating Brush High School, she attended college at Morgan Community College.
Gloria was a devoted housewife and loving mother. She met Lucio Mares and in 1978 they were married. After his passing, she married Diamond Hansen in Akron, Colorado in 1994. Diamond passed away in February 2013.
In her spare time, Gloria enjoyed: reading, cooking, watching old movies on television and listening to Elvis. She was a devout Christian woman whose strong faith helped shape her into the wonderful woman she was.
Gloria is survived by her daughter, Crissy (Ron) Cardwell; three grandchildren; one half brother, Tom and one half sister, Tonna. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husbands, Lucio and Diamond; two sisters, Judy and Marilyn and one half sister, Verna.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the Brush, Colorado Cemetery Chapel.
