Grant D. Gladin, age 36, a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 19, 2012. He was a loving father, son, husband and brother. He was employed by the United States Postal Service, Briargate Office.

Grant David Gladin was born on April 26, 1975 to Terry and Elizabeth (Blume) Gladin. He attended Doherty High School and graduated from Palmer High School. He married Megan Erin Green on January 21, 2009 in Colorado Springs. He enjoyed his children, fishing, and bowling, and was an avid Broncos football fan. He had a big heart and will be best remembered for his generosity and his unique laugh.

He is survived by his children: Kylee and Dalton; his wife: Megan; his parents: Terry and Betty Gladin; his brother: Mark (and Lena) Gladin and his sister: Tracy (and Levi) Maez; all of Colorado Springs. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and a niece.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Quentin and Helen Gladin, and Harold and Elizabeth Blume.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 23, 2012 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. A reception will follow at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 S. Union Boulevard. Cremation is planned and burial will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial donations in Grant’s name may be made to the Gladin Children’s Educational Fund in care of the family.

He will be dearly missed.
