Gregory B. Kramer, age 57, a resident of Belleview, Washington for the last fifteen years and formerly of Colorado Springs, died on December 11, 2013 at his home following a long illness. He was a software engineer.
Gregory Bernard Kramer was born on December 14, 1956 at Norton Air Force Base in California to Marvin and Edith Kramer. He was a 1974 graduate of Mitchell High School in Colorado Springs and then attended Michigan State University. He graduated from Webster University in Colorado Springs in 1982.
“Gabe” loved computers, role playing games, gaming and especially his two nieces. He will be best remembered for his skills in technology and his straight-forwardness. He was an awesome computer programmer who loved cats.
He is survived by his parents: Colonel Marvin L. (and Edith) Kramer USAF (Ret.) of Colorado Springs; his brothers: Stuart (and Ede) Kramer of Roseburg, Oregon; and Mark (and Bobbi) Kramer of Highlands Ranch, Colorado. He had two nieces: Olivia (and Adam) Wallen of Los Angeles, California; and Hilary (and Don) Kramer-Bailey of McMinnville, Oregon. Gabe had three great-nieces and a great- nephew.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. A reception will follow at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center. Private entombment will follow at the Mausoleum’s Gate of Heaven. Memorials in his name may be made to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region.
