Gregory James Nelson

Greg went home to be with his Savior on Wednesday, May 8, 2013.
Greg was born in Colorado Springs to Raymond and Dorothy Nelson. As a young person, he realized and believed that the God of the universe died to save him from his sin. He served his country in the Air Force and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. While he was in Vietnam, he was the church organist for all the religious services.
On June 23, 1972, Greg married the love of his life, Martha Berry.
Greg graduated from UCCS with a business degree in accounting and became a CPA. He has worked at Phil Long Dealerships for over 37 years where he was currently employed as Senior Financial Officer. He was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.
There was always a special love for his family, his church family, and the Phil Long Dealership family.
He is survived by his wife, Martha; sister, Kathy Bouse DeMasi (husband Ray); cousin, Larry Nelson (wife Sue); and many extended family and friends.
