Harold “Casey” Leslie Case, Jr., passed away Friday, November 21, 2014. He had been a resident of Colorado Springs for the last 20 years.
Casey was born September 21, 1942 to Harold Leslie Case and Virginia Jane (Mudd) Smith in Scotia, California. He graduated in 1960 from South Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Casey worked in Aircraft and Missile Ground Support for the United States Air Force. He also was a great artist and his disability did not keep him from being creative.
Casey loved life and family and they loved him. The family picnic was the highlight of his year.
Casey is survived by his sister, Ginger Ludwig (John); his brothers: Ken Case (Janet), and Bryce Case (Mary); his sister, Beverly Miller (Leon); and his sister–in–law, Mary Jo Case. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: Bryan and Bruce Case, and Rick and Lance Larson; and a sister, Cheryl (Larson) Young.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 4925 North Carefree Circle, Colorado Springs 80917.
