Heidi R. Johnston

Heidi R. Johnston, age 52, left this earth peacefully on December 10, 2014. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for 46 years and spent 5 years soaking up the sun in Phoenix, Arizona. She was a Specialist for Atmel Corporation and Intel for more than 20 years. Heidi was a true friend and all that knew her loved her dearly!

Heidi was born on August 12, 1962 to Frederick J. Hardiman and Lore (Beeh) Hardiman in Fairfield, California at Travis AFB. Both parents preceded her in death.

Heidi enjoyed the sunshine and she loved animals. Her favorite time was spent with her granddaughter, Briayna. She enjoyed watching her play sports followed by going out to eat and shopping. She graduated from Widefield High in 1981. While in Phoenix she attended school for Medical Assisting.

She is survived by her two children: Tammy Serfas, and Nolan Johnston; her granddaughter, Briayna; and her siblings: Teri Wojcik, Debbie Miller, and Mike Hardiman.

A celebration of Heidi’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on December 19 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. A reception will follow with snacks and beverages at the Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 South Union Boulevard.
