Helen M. Bailey passed away quietly, surrounded by her husband John A. Bailey and her children at View Pointe on the 6th of January. She was born on the 20th of May in 1920 in Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania.
Helen leaves behind her loving husband of 44 years, John. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her children Peggy (Bailey) Lewis, Kristi (Bailey) Miller, Patrice (Price) Schmidt, and Edward Price. Helen was preceded in death by her son Kevin Bailey. The family grew in her love to include 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
A long-time resident of Colorado Springs, she practiced realty with Weidman and Company. An avid bridge player and master seamstress, she is known in the family for her many precious needle projects, which have graced her home and have been given to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Three generations of her family have handcrafted Christmas stockings that hang on their mantles each year and will be a lasting memory of her love for all of us.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen’s name to Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation.
