Henry P. Mumbauer, Jr., 76, of Colorado Springs, CO; formerly of Hatfield, PA & Perkasie, PA entered into rest on Monday, August 24, 2020 at his residence.
He was born in Quakertown, PA to the late Henry P. Mumbauer, Sr. and the late Verna (Bleam) Mumbauer.
Henry served as a photographer in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Throughout his working lifetime, he worked as a carpenter for the Philadelphia Housing Authority.
Henry was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 158 in Philadelphia. He was also a member of the Crossroads Church at Montgomery in Colmar, PA.
Henry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also loved photography and taking pictures of anything that caught his eye. In his leisure time, Henry enjoyed listening to classic rock music, watching the Philadelphia Eagles and hanging out with his friends. He also enjoyed watching all forms of racing.
Henry was a hardworking, honest, caring man who had a dry sense of humor. He was a perfectionist and took great pride in everything he did.
Henry is survived by his son, Joshua H. Mumbauer and wife, Elaine of Falcon, CO; his four grandchildren – Brooke, Tatum, Roman, & Andrew; and his four sisters, Marilyn Williams of Grain Valley, MO, Lorraine Stull & companion, Richard Gogel of Quakertown, PA, Barbara Anders of Cody, WY, & Linda Scott of Sellersville, PA.
In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in death by his sister, Doris Egner.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Burial will take place at Pikes Peak National Cemetery in Colorado Springs, CO.
