Isaac “Ike” Arnold, of Colorado Springs, passed away at home on June 8, 2018. He was born in Cheboygan, MI on October 14, 1941 to the late Levi and Mildred (Passeno) Arnold.

Ike has been a member of the IBEW Local 113 since September 1, 1963. He worked many jobs as an electrician but spent most of his time at Berwick Electric. Ike also worked as an electrical inspector about 10 years after retiring as an electrician.

Ike liked to spend time with his family and he enjoyed riding, showing, and building motorcycles.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; son, Richard Arnold (Marla) of Pueblo; daughters, Brenda Howlett of Pueblo, and Jennifer Law of Colorado Springs; grandchildren: Charity Javier, Zach and Lexi Arnold, Madison and Meghan Howlett, and Cortney, Tyler, and Abby Law. Ike is also survived by his sisters: Anita Javier of FL, Margie Ostwald of MI, and Joyce Schramm of WY.

Ike was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Arnold; brothers: George Jarvis, Donald Jarvis, and Curt Arnold; and sister, Pat Caswell.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. Inurnment will be private.

  1. I have many fond memories of my friend and mentor “Ike”. I enjoyed my time with Ike, at Berwick Electric, working as an apprentice and journeymen electrician. Ike taught me many valuable skills and ethics that have helped me throughout my career. I offer my deepest condolences to the family, especially Richard and Brenda who I knew as youngsters. Rest In Peace – “Ike”.
