Isadore Michael Romero, 67, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023. He was a 27-year resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado and was formerly a resident of Pueblo, Colorado. He held the title as a Driver/Handyman for Laundry Lounge.
Izzy was born on May 3, 1955, to Luis and Lucille (Vigil) Romero in Pueblo, Colorado and attended South High School. He married his wife and life-long partner of 40 plus years, Annette, in Colorado Springs, Colorado on August 16, 1983.
Big Iz was fond of being a Pampo to his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, and had an appreciation for gardening.
Izzy is survived by his loving wife, Annette; his children: Izzy Romero, Ray Romero, and Bobbie Romero (DeAnda); his siblings: Sally Romero, Veronica Romero, Luis Ray Romero, and Ervin Romero; his grandchildren: Angelo Romero, Justina Perez, Justin Romero, Rayna Romero, Lillyana Yslas, and Fabian DeAnda and his great-grandchildren: Alijah Romero, Noah Romero, Jordan Romero, and Emalina Perez.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father Luis and Lucille Romero, his brother, Floyd Romero; and his nephew, Gino Romero.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Shrine of Remembrance 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
