Ivonne Hernandez Arredondo, age 30, was born July 2, 1989 in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico to her parents, Dimas and Imelda (Arredondo) Hernandez. She lived in the Colorado Springs area since 1996 and previously lived in Mexico. Ivonne married David Dewayne Cooper on May 21, 2013 in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker.
Ivonne is survived by her husband; two daughters, Audrey and Roxy Cooper; her brother, Dimas Hernandez, Jr.; her sister, Imelda Mora; and her in-laws, David and Sandra Cooper with whom she lived and was loved as their own daughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Ivonne loved her family and particularly playing with her two daughters and laughing with her nieces. She also had a great affinity for music.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. A public visitation will be held at the Shrine of Remembrance two hours prior to the funeral, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Inurnment will be private and at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery.
