Jacob William Bergeron
Jacob William Bergeron, age 24 years, passed away on July 19, 2013. We have been blessed in this life to have Jacob.
Jacob was born on September 13, 1988 to Jurgen Peter Bergeron and Sonya Kay Bergeron (Lewis). He was a resident of Colorado Springs for his entire life. Jacob was a sweet soul full of love and life. He was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Everyone loved Jacob; how could you not. Once you saw his contagious smile, you were hooked. He was a free spirit, kind hearted, and such a goofball. Memories of him always include a huge laugh and great smile.
He worked for the Colorado Springs Utilities as a gas line pipefitter – a job that he absolutely loved. He was a hard worker and was always willing to do what needed to be done. He made everyone smile because he always wore one. Jacob loved biking, fishing, and being in the outdoors. Jacob attended school at Stratton Elementary, Horace Mann Middle School, Palmer High School and Wasson High School.
He is survived by his parents: Jurgen and Sonya Bergeron; his sister, Kristen Kennedy; his brother, Jeremy Bergeron; his brother-in-law, Kevin Kennedy; and his sister-in-law, Lorelei Bergeron. He is also survived by all of his grandparents: Mary Ann and Bill Lewis, Christa and Charles Bergeron; and two great-grandmothers: Tena Shirley and Liselotte Leiser.
