James Bryce Pincomb, 88, passed away on October 29, 2016. He was a resident of Widefield for 52 years. He served as a social worker for El Paso County.
He was born on September 28, 1928 to Arthur and Clara (Morris) Pincomb in Overland Park, Kansas. On December 21, 1952, he married Della Eileen Durham in Colorado Springs.
Jim was fond of model railroading. He also enjoyed drawing and piano playing. He was a member of the Nazarene Church and held a Bachelor’s degree in English.
He is survived by two daughters, Melodie Bruce and Gwendolyn Pincomb; his brother, Wayne Pincomb; one grandson, Edison Bruce; and two great-granddaughters, Aubriana Bruce and Sophia Bruce. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen; and by two siblings, Clara Pauline Pincomb and Arthur Leon Pincomb.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 East Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs.
