James C. Robinson “Jim” passed away on February 15, 2016. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for forty-two years and formerly a resident of Pueblo, Colorado. He was an industrial chemical sales representative until the age of eighty three.
James was born on June 20, 1926 in Pueblo, Colorado to Claude and Agnes (Schmitt) Robinson. On April 12, 1944, he married Doris (McNamara) in Pueblo, Colorado.
Jim loved his work and his daily interaction with clients. Jim was an avid Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies fan. He saw a dream come true on Super Bowl Sunday with the victory of his team. He was proud of all his children and grandchildren. He was always available to share love and advice and cheer them on in their life events. Jim shared his ability to fix and repair cars, solve household problems, and was proud of his array of tools carefully arranged in his garage.
Jim is survived by his loving daughters, Linda Lakner (Michael), and Carol Chapman (Mark). He is also survived by six grandchildren: Kevin, Kyle, and Kurt Robinson, Christine Mann, Melissa Kirz and Joseph Lakner; and five great-grandchildren: Trenten, Logen, Gaven, Jakob and Sadie. He leaves one brother, Dr. Harold Robinson.
A private Celebration of Life party will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2016 for close family and friends.
The family will hold a private service at a later time to distribute the remains. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
