On Monday January 17, 2022 James Kessler of Florissant, Colorado passed away at the age of 79.
James was born on February 18, 1942 in Du Bois, Pennsylvania to Harold and Rose (Zimmerman) Kessler. James had an associate’s degree in drafting. He specialized in commercial wood working design.
James had a passion for golf until a mild stroke, years ago, kept him from his passion, but you could always count on a good golf story. He also loved fishing at Eleven Mile Reservoir, going to Cripple Creek and watching the Colorado Rockies. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile and compassionate spirit.
James was preceded in death by his father, Harold, his mother Rose and brother Irvin. He is survived by his two daughters, from a previous marriage, Becky and Jennifer; three grandchildren: Harper, Georgia and Noah: three sisters: Judy, Carol and Bonnie; wife: Jackie; three step children: Dawn, Deanna and Shawn; eleven step grandchildren and twelve step great grandchildren.
No services are planned per James’s request. He will be inurned at the Shrine of Remembrance in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
