James “Jim” Robinson
James Robinson, 84, passed away on May 5, 2014. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for 40 years. He was a band musician in the United States Army, a retired Veteran earning 3 bronze stars as well as many other awards and honors.
James was born on November 15, 1929 to Rueben Robinson and Alice (Nord) Robinson in Moorhead, Minnesota. On November 18, 1950 he married Socorrito Sanchez in Junction City, Kansas.
Jim loved music, and was an accomplished pianist. He also was known as a caregiver and enjoyed helping others.
He is survived by his children: Beverly Crider and Yvonne Anderson; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Rita.
A private graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery.
