Jamie A. R. Steckler, Jr.
Jamie Andrew-Ray Steckler, Jr., age 13, tragically passed away on September 23, 2013 as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was formerly a student of Jack Swigert Aerospace Academy Middle School and was currently a student of Ft. Carson Middle School. He was a Colorado Springs resident for 3 years.
He was born on December 8, 1999 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Jamie Andrew Steckler, Sr. and Regina Margarita (Lovato) Steckler. He enjoyed playing games, listening to music, and hanging out with his family and friends. He was a people-helper. He also loved building and creating, as well as fixing cars, and had an interest in fitness.
He is survived by his parents; his siblings: Megan, Jenesa, Triniti, Jade, Israel, and Svenja; and many family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 29, 2013 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 30, 2013 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
