1940 – 2025
Jane passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on March 8th, 2025.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.
Jane lived a beautiful life full of teaching, quilting, art, travel, and lots of bridge with good friends. Up until the end, Jane maintained her grace, strength, resilience, witty humor, love of family and friends, and shared many stories of her wonderful life and experiences.
She is survived by husband, Gilbert; children, Elizabeth (Ron) and Nick (Jennifer); granddaughter, Samantha (Michael); and brothers, Jim (Nancy) and John (Jean); who will forever cherish the many years and memories shared with her.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80910, with a reception following. In lieu of flowers Jane would encourage a trip to your local fabric shop.
