Janet Sandeen was born on March 6, 1961 in Phoenix, Arizona to Edward and Joyce Waldrep. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 54 years old on Thursday, September 3, 2015 in Colorado Springs.
She is survived by husband Charlie; children and their spouses: Jacque, B.J., Kim, Jonathan, Rachel, Lisa, and Ryan; along with her grandchildren: Shayanne and Quinn. She has 4 siblings: Terry Letterman, Penny Crouch, Tammy Henry and Eddie Waldrep.
Janet held many jobs throughout her lifetime but none compared to her passion for cooking, as well as hosting many family fish fry’s. Janet attended and taught Bible Study Fellowship and was woman’s ministry director for the Southern Baptist Convention for many years.
Janet’s heart was for the Lord and she lived her life with a humble heart and shared the love of God with everyone in her life. While her life here with us was short we have the greatest reassurance that we will be united again. She was an incredible woman and an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her laughter and love will be echoed for eternity. She is so loved and will be missed greatly.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Rocky Mountain Calvary, 4285 North Academy Boulevard. A reception will follow the funeral at Rocky Mountain Calvary. Private interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
