Janice Ridenour Doyle
Janice, age 77, passed away on August 14, 2014. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for just over a year and was formerly a resident of Corsicana, Texas. She was a nurse.
Janice was born on June 12, 1937, to Fred O. Ridenour and Geneva (Pace) Ridenour in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was married to Lenford Reynolds on November 25, 1958. They had three daughters together, Lynne, Jean, and Rebecca, and were married for 23 years.
Janice was fond of reading and always had at least one book that she was reading all the time. She also enjoyed her dogs and was very devoted to them. She was a member of the American Medical Technologists and the Order of the Eastern Star. She attended Navarro Junior College and received her training in Medical Technology.
She is survived by her daughters: Lynne (Greg), Jean (Wayne), and Rebecca (Clayton); her grandchildren: Sarah (Eric), Kevin, Karen, Lauren, Sean, Dylan, Meghan; her cousin, Elaine, and other numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Geneva Ridenour, and her cousins, Bobby, Gene, and La Rue.
A celebration of life will be held at Faith Presbyterian Church, 1529 N. Circle Drive in Colorado Springs on August 23, 2014, at 2 p.m., with a reception to follow. There will be a graveside service in Corsicana, Texas, at a later date to be determined.
