Jerry D. Frost passed away peacefully in Colorado Springs, Colorado on August 12, 2017 at the age of 75. He was born in Parsons, Kansas on May 13, 1942 to Balfour and Jessie Frost (deceased). Jerry graduated from Wasson High School in 1960 and married his wife, Freda, on September 6, 1964. He co-owned and operated Blueprints, Inc. in Colorado Springs, Colorado with his partner, Howard Gill, then owned and operated Cherry Creek Printing in Denver, Colorado.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Freda; children: Sheryl (Guy) Leon (Aurora, Colorado), Karen Poteat (Colorado Springs, Colorado), Linda Soria (Aurora, Colorado) and Holly Frost (Aurora, Colorado); 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles (Sheila) Frost and Jack (Joanne) Frost; sisters, Verda Cunningham and Peggy (Charles) Lurvey; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home. A funeral is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2017 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jerry’s life. Burial will then take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with a luncheon reception to follow at Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 975 South Union Boulevard.
