Joe “Lloyd” Lujan
Joe “Lloyd” Lujan, a resident of Colorado Springs for 54 years, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2014. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and he will be greatly missed.
Joe was born on December 8, 1936 to Jusevio and Mary (Archuleta) Lujan in Rawlins, Wyoming. He married Marie Vialpando on February 2, 1957 in Rawlins.
He worked in retail management and retired after 33 years. His regular customers at Walgreens all loved him. He was a very caring and kind person and people always had good things to say about him.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and traveling. He was also a big fan of his Colorado teams, the Broncos and the Rockies.
Joe is survived by his wife, Marie; his son, Vincent Lujan; his daughter, Kim (husband Mark) Renvoize; 2 grandchildren: Christopher Coleman, and Kenneth Lujan; and 3 great-grandchildren: Alex Coleman, Kolton Lujan, and Adelynn Coleman, his sister, Bertha Martinez, and brothers Joe E. and Juan R. Lujan.
Services were held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church.
