John J. Kempf, age 66, a resident of Colorado Springs since 2007 and formerly of Valley Stream, New York, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2011 at his home. He had retired as a Materials Manager for Keyspan/National Grid in Roslyn, New York.
John Jacob Kempf was born on July 26, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York to the late John and Bertha Kempf. He married Marie Louise LaNoce on October 11, 1970 in Queens, New York.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marie; his son, John Kempf of Colorado Springs; his daughter, Karen (husband, Vincent) Femia of Colorado Springs; three grandchildren, Joseph, Nicholas, and Lianna. John is also survived by his sister in law, Doris Breitfeller of Hicksville, New York.
A Visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home with a Rosary to follow at 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel.
