Joseph H. Harvey Jr., age 81, passed away on 6 April 2019. He was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado for over 30 years. He was a retired Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force after 26 years of service.
Joe was born on 10 September 1937 to Joseph Herbert Harvey Sr. and Mabel (Morrill) Harvey in Keene, New Hampshire. On 17 December 1994 he married Nancy McCune in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Joe loved to play golf and enjoyed bowling until he couldn’t do it anymore. He was a member of Vista Grande Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; his sons: Ken and Tony; his stepchildren: Brian, Randall and Jessica Richers; his 9 grandchildren; and his 2 great-grandchildren; cousins: Roger Patterson, Charleotte (Patterson) Mottram and Kim Letendre; and childhood friend, Bev Ober. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A service will be held at 2:00pm on 11 April 2019 at the Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. Private inurnment will be at the Shrine of Remembrance Veterans Honor Court.
