Joseph John Gurreri went to be with our dear Lord on August 9, at the age of 42. Born in Tucson, Arizona on June 29, 1971 he was the oldest son of his parents Lorenzo and Linda Gurreri.
Joseph spent most of his life in Colorado Springs. He graduated from Mitchell High School in 1990. After graduation he joined the United States Navy and was honorably discharged.
Being a truck driver was a desire of his from the time he was toddler. He was a lover of motorcycles and participated in motorcycle benefits. He was a fan of Steven King and Star Wars.
Along with his parents he is survived by two sisters: Rosalia (Richard) Shopp and Lucinda Gurreri. Joseph was a loving father and is survived by four lovely girls: Kiatlin, Tamara, Caterina, and Isabella.
A visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2013 at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 4925 North Carefree Circle. Funeral Services will follow at 10 a.m. at Holy Apostles Catholic Church.
