She retired from Riviera Wood Products.
She was born on January 20, 1931, to Lonisio Blan and Maria (Sanchez) Blan.
Mother loved to interior decorate and was an avid gardener. She adored her dog, Emma.
She is survived by her loving son, Thomas Gomez; daughter, Peggy; brother, Fred Blan; sister, Molly (Blan) Candelarie; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Baca; son, Donicio Gomez; both her daughters, Valarie Jean Gomez and Valarie Jean Hooks; and sisters Armelinda, Toni, Oclirez, Carmen, Andrea, and Julia.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 28th at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. A reception will follow the services.
