Joshua Adam Labrum
A GREAT LIGHT HAS LEFT THIS WORLD. Joshua Adam Labrum, 19, of Colorado Springs, passed away on March 25, 2013. Joshua was born on September 10, 1993 in Colorado Springs to James M. and Gay Robin Labrum. He was profoundly special-needs and had a wonderful smile.
Joshua loved to listen to his beloved mother sing to him. His favorite music included Frank Sinatra, Harry Bellefonte, Straight No Chaser and Raffi.
Joshua is survived by his parents; his maternal grandmother, Anne Geyer from Niles, Ohio; half-sister, Sheyla (Alex) Rochelle; niece, Belle Marie as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his godparents, Jerry and Heidi Russell of Saginaw, Michigan. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, David E. Geyer and paternal grandparents, Lyle and Dorothy Labrum; as well as numerous aunts and uncles.
The family would like to thank Evercare Hospice and G.R.A.N. Inc. for all of their help during the last days of Joshua’s life on earth. Heartfelt gratitude also goes out to Nancy Dooley, Karen Pinell, Barb Woodside, Sandy Davis and Dave and Jane Young for their love, friendship and support over the years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, April 19, 2013 at the Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel in Colorado Springs.
