Judith Ann Steininger, age 81, wife of Bill Steininger, died September 14, 2017 in Colorado Springs. Judith was born February 21, 1936 in Bedford, Indiana. She taught elementary school until she became a stay-at-home mom. She then taught pre-school in Santa Barbara, California. Upon retirement, in 1993, the Steiningers moved to Colorado Springs. Judith enjoyed traveling and also visiting her children and grandchildren. She attended Village Seven Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs. She loved and was a follower of Jesus Christ and is certainly welcomed home.
Judith is survived by her husband Bill; their three children: Bradley (Wanda) Steininger, Barbara (David) Carter, and Karen (Cliff) Feldheim. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; sisters: Jean Freels, Joy Storey, Kennetha Miller, Lee Etta Dustin; and brother, Dirus Dustin.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., preceded with viewing at 9:00 a.m., on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. A celebration will follow the service at son, Bradley’s home. Private entombment will take place at Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Garden of Athena.
