Julie Ann Brewster, age 66 years, passed away on December 4th, 2024. She was born on July 18th, 1958, to Francis and Nancy (Waters) Brewster in Madison, Wisconsin. She grew up in Mahtomedi, Minnesota, and after a bit of travelling, moved on to reside in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she lived for 26 years. She worked in many different fields over the years, before settling in as an Administrative Assistant at Bridgers&Paxton.
Julie was fond of music and art. She enjoyed scrapbooking, reading any free moment she could, and absolutely loved watching evening game shows. She graduated college in 2004 with a Masters in Psychology from University of Phoenix. Julie was an active advocate and support person for brain tumor awareness and would always “Go Gray in May.”
She is survived by her loving children, Alicia Wildman and Chad Wildman; her father: Francis Brewster; her siblings: Rick (Debra) Brewster, Joe Brewster, and Dave (Beth) Brewster; and her grandchildren, Olivia and Ruby. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy (Waters) Brewster, and her soul-pet, Shemya. We know she is thrilled to be reunited with her beautiful dog.
A celebration of life will be announced and held at a later date.

“Every time I look at the world around me,
I see a world that you built.
I see the thoughts you had,
The ideas you shared,
The works you performed,
All written into reality
As surely as runes etched into stone,
Even if we can’t always perceive
Which words were yours.
Our lore, our practice, our vision,
All built on the foundations you laid,
And your foundations built on the foundations
Of those that came before you.
The orange leaves,
The cloudy days,
The early sunsets,
All remind me of you.
But so does everything else.”

22 Jan 2025Julie, our girls drew us to know one another, but that cute snarkyness of yours drew me to be your friend. Alicia and Chad are one of your best legacies, they each have so much of their beautiful momma. I truly wish and regret not spending more time with you. I pray for you to have a joyous life with our Lord Savior Jesus. I believe you are in a wonderful place. 🙏🏼
