Karen Lynn Harris, age 56, passed away on October 23rd 2022. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for 5 years, before that she lived in Waco, Texas for 2 years, and lived all her previous years in Southern California. Karen was a kitchen manager of Widefield Elementary School of the Arts in Widefield, Colorado.
Karen Lynn Harris was born on January 2nd 1966 to Kenneth Lavern Crawley and Melanie Sue (Cartwright) Crawley in Fullerton, CA. Karen was married to Joseph Harris for 15 years and later to Mauricio Herrera for 13 years.
Karen was fond of Disneyland, shoes, Angel’s baseball and Green Bay Packers football. She attended Troy High School in Fullerton, CA.
She is survived by her loving sons, John Kenneth Harris, Anthony Joseph Harris, and Michael Robert Harris; her parents: Kenneth Lavern Crawley and Melanie Sue Crawley; her siblings: Alan Craig Crawley and Kelly Leigh Crawley; and her granddaughter: Emery Lynn Harris. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Emery Ery Crawley and Velma Gertrude Crawley, and maternal grandparents, Ben Cartwright and Louise Cartwright.
As per her wishes, Karen’s remains have been cremated at the Shrine of Remembrance in Colorado Springs, Colorado and shared amongst her loved ones.
