Kasper Reger, Jr., age 72, beloved brother, father, and Opa passed away on January 24, 2024. Kasper was a long-time resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Kasper, known to most as Casey, was one of five children born to Kasper, Sr. and Grace in Brooklyn, New York. He was married to Edith for 38 years.
Kasper served in the United States Army for 24 years. He was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. Kasper was fond of fishing and was very active in the church. He loved spending time with his family, watching his shows, and listening to his grandson play the violin.
Kasper will be greatly missed and will be held forever in the hearts of those who loved him. He is survived by his loving children: daughter, Denise Reger; son, Kevin Reger; daughter-in-law, Valentina; and his grandson, Dominic Reger; sisters: Maryann Reger and Elizabeth Carnell; brothers: John Reger (Patty) and Mark Reger (Doreen); as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Annette Snook (Keith). He was preceded in death by his mother, Grace; his father, Kasper, Sr.; and his wife, Edith.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 1318 North Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909, followed by the inurnment and military honors at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910, his final resting place.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kasper’s name may be made to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 1318 North Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.

From the pantry to the Girl Scout cookies I have already been missing him. I’m so sorry for your family. To say he will be missed is an understatement. Instead I will say; HE MADE A DIFFERENCE
