It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Kelly McGetrick on March 8, 2025.
Kelly (Cash) McGetrick was born in Pomona on July 29, 1964, to Bill and Barbara Cash. She was the youngest of three and their only girl.
Kelly grew up in Chino, California, and graduated in 1982 from Don Lugo High School.
She met the love of her life, Tom McGetrick, in 1993. They were married for 29 years. They enjoyed a wonderful life together and never left each other’s side.
Kelly was a daddy‘s girl, she was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, niece, aunt, and friend.
She was deeply loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her. To know her was to love her.
Kelly had never met a stranger. She had a way of gathering people together. She was the life of the party and lit up a room with her bubbly personality and beautiful smile. Kelly had the best sense of humor and her zest for life was contagious.
Kelly was diagnosed in August 2024 with stage four lung cancer. She was a warrior who fought hard and never complained.
She is preceded in death by her father, William (Bill) Cash, who was surely waiting on her in Heaven with open arms and his trumpet blaring.
Kelly is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Tom McGetrick; her children, Lacie Low, Barbie McGetrick, Bailey McGetrick; her beloved granddaughter, Skylee McGetrick; her mother, Barbara Cash; as well as her brothers, Brent (LeAnne) Cash and Blake (Brenda) Cash, along with many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and her countless friends.
Kelly was a Christian and a believer, and we take great comfort in knowing that she is now resting peacefully in the arms of our Lord.

22 Mar 2025I’m so sorry Tom! My heart feels so broken for you. Kelly loved you the most! You were the best husband to her and gave her the most beautiful life! She felt very loved and adored by you. You and your girls were her everything!
Kelly was the best friend a girl could ever wish for. She had so many lifelong, childhood friends! She had a way of making each and every one of us feel loved and cherished by her! She truly never met a stranger and made friends wherever she went. To know Kelly was to love her!
Kelly was the strongest girl I’ve ever known. She fought stage four cancer with such bravery and never complained. She lived her life to the fullest until the very end. Her positive attitude was such a gift to all of us who knew and loved her. Our lives will never be the same without Kelly in it.
I’ll love you forever and ever Kelly Girl and I am eternally grateful that God blessed me with your love and lifelong friendship. You truly were the best friend a girl could ever wish for. Thank you for being my friend!
