Ken Goodrich, 75, went to be with the Lord March 27, 2016 (Easter Sunday). He lived such an amazing life and also finished very well. He lived a peaceful life and was blessed with a peaceful death. He entered into hospice in September while battling cancer and had come to live with his daughter. He was blessed to have wonderful care through hospice and was able to focus on prayer, his life in Jesus and his family. He was certainly ready to leave this earth and to see his Savior, Jesus. He “chose” this beautiful day of Easter to celebrate with his Savior and his beloved wife, Janet. Together they were able to celebrate Easter as none of us on this earth have–face to face with the Creator.

Ken married his beloved wife in 1963 and was married for 49 years until her passing in 2013. He resided in Colorado for nearly 40 years. For most of his life, Ken worked in the investments field as a Stock Broker. He served in the Air Force from 1966-1970 and was a proud Patriot.

He enjoyed his family very much. He and Janet had two daughters, Michelle Bartee and Katrina Watson. His favorite pastime was spending moments of love with his six grandchildren. He enjoyed them immensely and was an integral part of their lives.

Ken was a friend to many and was always available to offer a hand for someone in need. He was an encourager, supporter, friend, dad, husband and papa—and was loved dearly. He is survived by his two daughters Michelle Bartee and her husband Scott, Katrina Watson and her husband Val and his two brothers Carmen and Randol as well as his six grandchildren.

A service celebrating Ken’s wonderful life will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10 AM at the Shrine of Remembrance Chapel located at 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. in Colorado Springs.
