Kye Soo Moon, age 70, passed away on March 22, 2018. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for 32 years and an entrepreneur and real estate investor.
Kye Soo was born on July 1, 1947, to Yong Hwan Moon and Key Soon Moon (Choi) in Sunchang, South Korea. On June 18, 1968, he married Su Hui Moon in Seoul, Korea.
Kye Soo was fond of golf. He also enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing and camping, but his true passion was for family and friends. He was an active member of Hanmi Korean American United Methodist Church. He served in the South Korean military for three years.
He is survived by his loving wife Su Hui; his children: Katie Moon, Kyung Shik Moon, and Pom Moon; his two brothers and four sisters; and his grandchildren: Patrick, Nicholas, Kaylee, Jordan, Charlene, and Aaron.
A wake service will be at 5:00 p.m. and visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery. A reception will be held following the service.
