Lark Marie Jacobs, longtime resident of Colorado Springs, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015. She was the co-owner of Scene 2 Consignment Store.
Lark was born on December 25, 1942 in Bemidji, Minnesota to Charles and June (McAfee) Petersdorf. She loved gardening and fishing.
She is survived by her daughter, Holly Yakel; twin sister, Lane (husband Robert) Sherman; brother, Dixon Petersdorf; 2 grandchildren: Jestine Forrer, and Shevelle Kowarsch; and 5 great-grandchildren: Paige, Michael, Adrihanna, Brooklyn, and Brianna. She now joins in heaven her parents; her son, Terrance Welte, and her daughter, Donna Kowarsch.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 9, 2015 with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel. Private inurnment will take place at Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Columbarium of True Love.
