Larry Stone departed this life Tuesday, December 30 th in Colorado Springs, CO. A native of Colorado Springs, he was born July 18, 1959 at Memorial Hospital. Loving the great Colorado outdoors, he spent his high school summers working at Parks & Recreation. After graduating Palmer High School, he went to work with Colorado Springs Utilities as a Utilities Service Specialist Senior, completing 34 years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed hiking, biking, and spending time with family.
Larry is survived by his two daughters, April and Melissa Stone, his mother Anna Stone, and brothers Daniel and Stephen Stone, and two grandsons.
He was preceded in passing by his father Warren Stone and his brother Timothy.
Services are on Tuesday, January 6th, 2015, at 3:00 pm at Cheyenne Mountain Presbyterian Church, 4450 West Meadow Dr, Colorado Springs, CO, 80906. A reception will take place following the services in the Church Fellowship Hall.
