Laura Payne, 64, passed away on March 19, 2023. She was a resident of Colorado Springs for 11 years and was formerly a resident of San Diego. Laura was a secretary.
She was born on March 31, 1958, to Ronald and Bonnie (Heibel) Payne in Livingston, Montana.
Laura was fond of all types of crafting projects. She also enjoyed her pets, horses, and indoor plants. Laura attended Santana High in Santee, California.
She was survived by her son, Jeremy Patterson; mother, Bonnie Payne; sister, Diane Goodrich; brother, James Payne; and her grandchildren: Kevon, Payton, Gracie, and Claire.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald; daughter, Dawn; and granddaughters, Bailey and Brianna.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10am Thursday, March 30, 2023, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 55 Jefferson Street, Monument, Colorado, 80132.

12 Jul 2024I just recently found out that this dear lady passed away. She was a dear good friend of mine when I attended Santana High School. ( I started in the middle of 11th grade and ending up moving to Spring Valley and attending Monte Vista High School and graduations from there in 1976) She got me hooked on going to the hockey games. I wish I had tried to give her sooner. The family is in my thoughts and prayers.
