Laura “Lori” Violeta Saavedra Soto Dell
April 21, 1942 – June 11, 2017
Lori passed away at the age of 75 on June 11, 2017 at her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado, surrounded by her loving family. Lori was born on April 21, 1942 in Santiago, Chile to the late Jose Baudilio Saavedra Burgos and Emma Violeta Soto Aranguiz.
Lori is survived by her beloved husband, David; five children: Tammy “Tia” Dell Saavedra, James “Tony” Dell (wife Bridget), Robyn Dell, Julianne Dell (spouse Matthew Yeomans), and Jonathan Dell (spouse Crystal Dawson). She was grandmother to Ryan Dell and Evan Yeomans. She was sister to Santiago Saavedra Soto, Arnoldo Saavedra Soto, Dr. Juan Saavedra Soto, Samuel Saavedra Soto, and Jorge Saavedra Soto. Her brother, Daniel Saavedra Soto, predeceased her.
All are welcome to attend the celebration of Lori’s life at a service and reception on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 2:00pm at Village Seven Presbyterian Church, 4040 Nonchalant Circle South, Colorado Springs, CO 80917. Arrangements by Shrine of Remembrance.
