Lauretta M. Kosola, age 91, a seasonal resident of Colorado Springs since 1962 and permanently of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2013 at the Pikes Peak Hospice Residence in Colorado Springs.
She had been a clerk at a grocery store, a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Lauretta Maxine Hunter was born on September 21, 1921 in Williston, North Dakota to the late Francis and Ethel (Smith) Hunter. She was married to Toivo H. Kosola. Toivo passed away in 1986.
She is survived by her daughter: Caren A. Cimino; her grandsons: Nick Cimino and Ryan Cimino, all of Colorado Springs. She has two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Private family memorial services were held in Colorado Springs. She will be interred at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Rock of Ages Rose Gardens.
